I’m delighted and very honored to have received a nomination for the 2022 Association for Recorded Sound Collections Awards for Excellence in Historical Recorded Sound Research for my book ‘Finding Fretless, the story of George Harrison’s Mad guitar.’ Riverside is the epicentre of the book and tells the incredible story of Paul Barth, Ted Peckels, the House of Note and Bartell guitars. The goal of the ARSC Awards program is to recognize and draw attention to the finest work being published in the field of recorded sound research. The winners will be announced by September, and the awards will be presented at ARSC’s annual conference in May 2023.
