Meet The Chino Hills Team

Michael Anderson

Founder & CEO

Throughout his life, Michael has been an accomplished musician. Since the early age of 5, when Michael began his musical journey, he has achieved much success collaborating with world-class musicians and bands, recording multiple CDs and traveling the world performing live. Michael has worked very hard over many years to develop a solid reputation as a serious and qualified musician.

In 1990 Michael formed the rock band Jaded with vocalist Tina Yothers, an actress famous for her role on the hit television series Family Ties. It was here that Michael was able to perform at venues nationwide and make several appearances on programs like Entertainment Tonight, Extra, Fox, VH-1, Mark and Brian, Mancow in Chicago and the famous Howard Stern Show. Shortly after Jaded, Michael teamed up with Adam Kowalczyk and formed Adam and the Weight. Adam was the touring guitar player in the very famous rock band LiVE and brother of vocalist Ed Kowalczyk. Adam and the Weight toured with several artists throughout the country and headlined their very own European Tour.

Beyond songwriting, performing and instruction, Michael has also produced and recorded numerous music scores for television programs and commercials. After 30+ years, he decided it was time to teach the gift of music to eager musicians wanting to learn an instrument. In 2007, Michael created Rockstars of Tomorrow and today hundreds of students a week are enrolled in the music program that teaches them to rock!

He has collaborated with several famous musicians including Mike Starr (Alice In Chains), Bucket Colwell (Bad Company), and Michael Klooster (Smash Mouth). You can also hear his voice featured on many recent radio and TV commercial jingles. Everyone agrees that Seth has a voice that you could only dream of having. The second he jumps on a mic you’ll swear you’re in the presence of iconic rock singers like Robert Plant, Steve Perry, and Chris Cornell.

Seth has been teaching music for over ten years and during that time some of his clients have been featured on the Disney channel, MTV, NBC, Fox, Nickelodeon, and major motion pictures.

What makes him a great teacher, more than anything, is that he is patient with students and understand that regardless of their age and skill level, students need careful and thorough guidance as they learn and advance on their instrument. Seth loves getting to know people, especially kids. Music is exciting and joyful, why should learning to play an instrument be anything less?

Savannah Wilde

Bass • Voice • Piano • Guitar

Savannah Wilde is a professional bassist/vocalist as well as a developing artist based in Southern California. Raised in a church community, Savannah began wood-shedding her bass skills at the age of 13 alongside some of the most influential songwriters and musicians in Christian/Gospel and Maranatha music. As she grew in her experience, she began studying intensely under various teachers and became profoundly influenced by bassists such as Pino Palladino, Geddy Lee, Esperanza Spalding, and Norm Stockton, thus shaping her own personal sound as an instrumentalist and classically trained vocalist.

At 21 years old, she proves to have developed the artistic sensibilities of an old soul but her young blood cultivates a compelling live presence on stage. Savannah has had the honor of sharing the stage with Buddy Guy, B.B. King’s All Star Band, and Grammy nominated artist/songwriter Steve Wiggins and performed in iconic venues such as Buddy Guy’s Legends, House Of Blues, and Nashville’s Puckett’s. Those experiences allowed her to see that the real beauty of music lies in the fact that there is always something new to be learned and always something new to be created – the possibilities are endless! Her inspiration led her to continue her education at Biola University where she studied Commercial Music and Jazz. During her time there, she honed in on her bass skills under the instruction of Norm Stockton and gained advanced skills in guitar, piano, and songwriting.

As a result of her own learning process, Savannah has become wildly passionate about cultivating music and creativity in others. What makes Savannah a unique instructor is her ability to meet students exactly where they are at in their music journey, whether it’s just the beginning or years in the process, and bring them to the next level of learning.
